This tree isn’t technically native to Montana (the closest native range is eastern North Dakota)

this small tree/large shrub produces excellent-tasting cherries—not quite tart

with reportedly good disease resistance and dependability

red-over-orange crabapple that is excellent for fresh eating and sauce

so what comes back in the spring will still be Marquette grapes
